Festival du Blues Autour du Zinc - BEAUVAIS - du 10 au 21 mars 2010
Listened to today all over the world, blues, folk song, gospel, jazz, rock, soul, rap, these styles of music, stemming from the meeting between diverse musical traditions, still grow rich of the present, travel and lend themselves to all the interbreedings.
The opening in all these musics, we want, for 15 years, make it to you share in a universe of colors, party and conviviality which characterizes the festival since the beginning.
This is in the spirit that Miossec will open the festival this year.
It is very also why we again invited artists, with whom we weaved privileged links: Eric Sardinas in the caustic energy will perform at Ouvre-Boîte, before sharing the stage of Elispace with Popa Chubby; also Ramon Goose and Matt Schofield, Ian Siegal, Donald Ray Johnson and The Revolutionaires…
Our support for the Blues au Féminin is more than ever of current events with Bernadette Seacrest, jazzy in devil, Demi Evans with her pop funk light, and Sharrie Williams, princess of the rockin' gospel blues.
Other big name, Rickie Lee Jones, author composer engaged, whose voice kinked Bob Dylan and Tom Waits …Do not miss either Izïa Higelin, in the rock so explosive and sensual as whose concert, I am on there, is going to stand out.
Bars open their doors on March 12th and 13th, two days during which you can be allowed carry, of measures in measures, according to your musical influences. And why not dance late under the night sky !
Whatever are your choices, that this programming relights again some stars so that they shine in your eyes and reflect thousands of blue notes.
